- Copy of your hospital registration forms

- Extra pairs of underwear (make sure they are large enough to accommodate a very thick maxi pad) The hospital will have disposable/mesh pairs which some women find easier and more comfortable
- Pajamas/ nightgown (preferably one that opens to the front if you are planning on breast feeding)
- Robe
- Slippers
- Heavy socks
- Toiletries- Shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, lip balm, deodorant etc.
- Make-up
- Reading material
- Going home outfit (choose something that fit when you were 5-6 months pregnant)
- Change of clothes for your partner
- Going home outfit for baby
- Infant car seat (installed in the car)
